Sensitive area monitoring
FaceReco uses Axis Network IP Cameras and Video Servers to watch areas requiring specific monitoring, detect blacklisted or potentially suspect face, record events, and send automatic alerts to control rooms. Events are recorded and indexed with facial identities. FaceReco is currently available in too editions.
The Local Edition is a standalone application running on a face recognition server and communicating through TCP/IP protocol with cameras and recorders available on the network. Face database and video recordings are locally stored on dedicated drives. This architecture is ideal for small systems processing up to 4 streams simultaneously.
The Server Edition is a client server solution whereby a smart client communicates over LAN with a central server that communicated with the various active cameras and recorders. Face database and video recordings are stored on central server. Facial recognition computation is split between the worksations ensuring a robust, reliable system.
